Mr. Frederick L. Frank, CLU, ChFC, CFS, an Investment Advisor Representative, started his career in 1974 with Prudential Life Insurance Company, and later moved to Provident Mutual where he received extensive training in the insurance and estate planning areas. In 1979, Mr. Frank joined Mr. Carroll and formed Carroll, Frank, & Associates. Mr. Shim Plotkin later joined the firm as a partner, changing the name to Carroll Frank & Plotkin, LLC.
Mr. Frank completed his Chartered Life Underwriters designation in 1981, received his Chartered Financial Consultant designation in 1982 and completed the Certified Fund Specialist Designation in 2001. Separately, he holds securities registrations for General Securities Representative (Series 7), General Securities Principal (Series 24), Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63) and Uniform Investment Advisor (Series 65), as well as life and health insurance licenses . Additionally, he has served on the board of directors for the local chapter of the International Association of Financial Planners. Mr. Frank is a licensed instructor for the State of Maryland in the area of Financial Planning, Estate Planning, Retirement Planning and Charitable Gifting. He has taught Retirement Planning at Essex Community College, Howard Community College, and Baltimore Community College. He has been engaged as a guest speaker on local radio programs and has organized seminars for associations and corporations as a continuing service to the community.
